Cintia Ballbé es actriz y directora, nacida en Barcelona. Formada como actriz en el Estudio de Nancy Tuñón i Jordi Oliver, ha complementado su formación con seminarios de interpretación en el Estudio de Juan Carlos Corazza, la Técnica Meisner con Javier Galitó-Cava y el entrenamiento corporal “Keep Moving” con Mercedes Boronat, entre otros.

Tiene una estrecha relación con Nueva York, donde ha trabajado en la compañía teatral The Actors Theatre Workshop asistiendo en la gestión artística del centro, realizó en 2017 un Conservatorio de Verano en la escuela de Stella Adler, e inició la producción del cortometraje que dirige y protagoniza, Hers.

Incluye a su experiencia su rol como ayudante de dirección, asistiendo a directores como Isabel Coixet, Silvia Quer, Juan Cruz, José Corbacho, o Paco Plaza. Y funda la compañía artística Incautas Project, acogida por la Nau Ivanow en Barcelona, con la que produce la obra escénica “Vale Vale Vale”.

Recientemente ha creado la serie Contiguo, producida des del confinamiento sin salir de casa.

Cintia Ballbé is a Spanish Film and TV actress and director. She has been trained as an actress in the Studio of Acting Nancy Tuñón i Jordi Oliver, also adding other acting workshops in the Studio of Acting Juan Carlos Corazza, Meisner Technique with Javier Galitó-Cava, “Keep Moving” training by Mercedes Boronat, among others.

She has a close relationship with New York, where she has worked as an artistic and production intern in The Actors Theatre Workshop, she also studied a Summer Conservatory in the Stella Adler Studio, she made her directorial debut with the shortfilm Hers.

Cintia’s work includes her role as assistant director. Among different productions she has assisted directors such as Jaume Balagueró, Silvia Quer, Juan Cruz, José Corbacho, and Isabel Coixet. She has been a founder of the Incautas Project artistic company, hosted by the Nau Ivanow Art Factory in Barcelona, and producing their first play too.

She recently created a new series called Contiguo, produced from confinement staying at home.
